I've been watching that on the news. Three people hurt, they said. From what I saw, it looked extremely dangerous. Good thing it was located where it was. Watching all those canisters(tanks) explode and fly into the air was frightening!
I am SOOO enjoying my vacation! Just loafing so far. Very little work. I'll get around to it - - - eventually, ; ^ p I don't want to go back!

"I find it odd in the times we live that a show like this can make so many people think and amagine several possiblilites of what's really going on. Before 9/11 I questioned the spirit of American being a member of the Active Army and for years now I have realized America is still strong however the old day's of duck and cover are long gone. If this show does only a few things for America it would remind us that any thing is possible and to think out side our box. As for season two. Reguardless who Hawkins and Jake were in the past they demonstrate leaders of Jericho now. I personaly would like one more season for things to be sorted out. Hawkins to "Take Care" of a few more bad guy's. And Jake to become the leader his dad once was. The Army coming are not really our freinds the flag they fly is not the flag I will ever salute or respect. New America Old America it does not matter they flag should be the same! The fact Homeland security is the big brother type it is makes me wonder what the wrighters had in mind. One large train one large convoy Jericho it will be interesting to find that they are not all bad guy's. Season 2 when Jericho comes to life with prosperity and people can hole there heads high.

I agree that we should question our future "safety" where greed and the lust for power are a constant part of our lives. Think of all the examples of price gouging going on,(just for one). The "powers that be") tell us that is because of "limits" and are backed by our government officials. (You can bet they are getting their cut!) Then they act as if we don't have the right to question their word!! After all - they are smart and we are "dumb". They know better, we are to stupid to know what we are talking about! They are the speakers and we should listen because they told us so.
As for the FLAG - you are also correct as well. I would NEVER salute any other flag than the one I fly from my house. The one that exists today. The one that was placed on my father's coffin!! While there weren't as many stars on it when my father served in the Army during WWII, it is still the same FLAG!! NO OTHER WILL DO!! (You might get some idea how I feel about our flag from the name I use to communicate)
Yep! The flag used to portray the "military" unit on JERICHO is a symbol of the "BAD GUYS"! It has to be.
I already have my vcr and dvd recorder set up to record JERICHO this summer and am just waiting for a start date for the fall. CANT WAIT!! 06/12/07 3:21pm central
